Hops a moneymaker for Madison County Historical Society

The Oneida Daily Dispatch has a nice little article with photos covering the Madison County Hop Fest that took place this weekend.  I missed my opportunity to go, but I will be making a serious effort to attend next year.  In attendance were New York State brewers such as Middle Ages, Sackets Harbor,  Ommegang, Brooklyn, Cooperstown and Empire.

Names like Pork Smack, Druid Fluid, Kilt Tilter and Wailing Wench might sound like something from a children's book, but drink up -- those were the names of some of the craft beers available at the Hop Fest this weekend. Now in its 14th year, the annual event is a major fundraiser for the Madison County Historical Society....
